After
the success of 1973 came the next milestone in Slade's career.
Not content with being the undisputed kings of the music charts,
they turned their hand to the art of acting |
| Flame
tells the story of a rock band's uphill struggle to stardom,
their short spell of success and their subsequent split due
to the pressures that come with fame |
| The
story not only portrays the glamour side of the music business
but also shows the external pressures and internal conflicts
that can so easily occur within a successful rock band |
| Flame
doesn't produce Oscar winning performances nor does it rate
as one of the greats, but it does provide a very realistic
and believable storyline and of course the music is FANTASTIC |
